Our Team of Journalists and Account Managers

We have a team of experienced media relations professionals who specialise in specific market areas. In terms of writing, we take responsibility inhouse for all editorial. We prefer not to outsource media writing.

In our opinion, outsourced writing is not effective. Meeting clients on a weekly basis enables us to develop a thorough understanding of their business and strategies, and identify opportunities for editorial coverage. In this way, our writers form an integral part of our customer’s business.

We are also of the opinion that freelance writers are not able to work as effectively as inhouse staff. This bears testament in the high level of ongoing coverage we achieve.

Social Responsibility

Sha-Izwe/CharlesSmithAssociates provides training opportunities for young, previously disadvantaged individuals. We have one training post open at a time. The trainee receives instruction in all aspects of public relations enabling him or her to get a head-start in their career. We also provide regular internships to students.
